Choose the type of test first — the mobile speaking test runs in six regions, while the written test and school sittings are Hong Kong only. Written and speaking papers are entered together from Band 3 upward.

Sit on your own phone, at a time you choose. HSK Plus is the only provider of a mobile-delivered HSK speaking test anywhere in the world. You must be in one of the six listed regions on the day.

Fees

What it costs.

One fee covers both the written and speaking papers where both are required. Re-sits are charged at the full band rate.

Registering

Four steps, about ten minutes.

Create your account

Choose band and session

Pick your band and a session in your region. From Band 3 the speaking paper is added to your entry automatically.

Pay and confirm

Pay online. Your confirmation email states which version of HSK your sitting follows.

Test your device

Run the readiness check at least 48 hours before. It verifies your camera, microphone and connection.

Before test day

What you need in place.

Most failed sittings come down to an unsupported device or an identity document that does not match the registration. Check these early.

An iPhone 8 Plus or newer running iOS 15 or later

Or an Android phone running Android 6 or later

A screen of 5.5 inches or larger is recommended

Foldable phones, iPads and tablets are not supported

Your connection

A stable connection throughout the sitting

Wired or strong Wi-Fi preferred over mobile data

Notifications and calls silenced for the duration

Your documents

Photo identity matching your registration exactly

Your candidate number, from the confirmation email

A quiet, well-lit room with nobody else present
